As a little girl, I spent so much of my time in the countryside. I remember the endless tobacco fields stretching beneath the sun and the rich aroma from the coffee plantation next to our farm. Sometimes I close my eyes and I can still smell it — warm, bold, and absolutely unforgettable.

Every afternoon around two o’clock, my grandmother would call the workers in from the fields for their coffee break. They would gather together, light a hand-rolled tobacco, and slowly sip that strong, sweet, beautiful drink we all know and love — Café Cubano. It wasn’t just coffee; it was tradition, community, and comfort in a tiny cup.
